We are delighted to be able to share with all you Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival fans out there, the news that we have managed to secure a delicious sizzling hog roast for this years event on Sunday 25th May at Bracknell Town Football Club (ko 1pm).
Our new friends over at The Winning Post pub and restaurant in Winkfield have very kindly agreed to provide a hog roast, and a chef from their kitchen to run the stall.
The Winning Post is one of seven owned by Upham Brewery – also very kindly sponsoring our festival – in Hampshire, and you will be able to sample some of their beers on the day.
The hog will be busy cooking from around 1pm when the festival opens, and the stall will open to festival goers around 6pm in the outdoor marquee’s.
As part of this years festival, which is on the pitch at Larges Lane, there will be the usual tables and chairs available, but we are encouraging you to bring your own picnic blankets and fold up chairs.
As ever, there will be live music throughout the day and over 20 real ales, as well as cider and wine.
