6 Nations fan looking for somewhere to watch the games with a bit of atmosphere this February and March? Fear not the Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival team have some great suggestions – especially if you are a big real/craft ale fan – and let’s assume that if you are reading our festival site then you are.
First up. The obvious suggestion is – GET DOWN TO BRACKNELL RUGBY CLUB. Sorry for shouting. Our festival hosts are naturally showing all the games on screens in the club house.
There’s plenty of room, a welcoming atmosphere and a well stocked bar. There’s even discounts if you take out a membership – which we have – Further details on the club website here.
Forthcoming events:
24th May 2020 – 10th Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival
Where else can you go?
So where else could you go? Well since this is a beer festival website, we thought we’d point you in the general direction of a few breweries and tap rooms where you can soak up the atmosphere.
First up (because from memory we think they invented this idea) Windsor & Eton Brewery.
The Vansittart Road home of Guardsman and Windsor Knot is showing all the England games in the brewery starting on 2nd February with England v France (3pm). Full details here.
The brewery is also running a loyalty scheme for England rugby fans with a big prize draw at the end.
In the opposite direction, Loddon Brewery in Dunsden Green is also showing games in the new on site tap room which serves Loddon beers as well as Tutts Clump ciders, wines, prosecco and soft drinks.
Based off Church Lane near the A4 Bath Road, the brewery will be showing all the games. Full details here.
Closer to home, Siren Craft Brew are showing the games at their tap room in Finchampstead. Based out on the Hogwood Industrial Estate, it’s well worth getting the bus over. Details here.
Ascot Brewing Company are also showing the games in their brand new tap room over in Camberley. 20 taps of beer, pies and a first pint half price for anyone wearing their nations rugby jersey. More details here.
Please check with both breweries before you head over.
