Loddon are another festival regular and are one of the prominent brewers in the area.
If we learned anything from our recent Meet the Brewer event with Windsor & Eton Brewery, it is that an IPA should be strong – and that is exactly what Forbury Lion is at 5.5%.
Jonny C gave the beer a 4 star rating on untappd saying: “There are definitely some larger notes in the nose. The taste is incredibly like golden syrup with some buttering hops”.
Here’s what the Loddon Brewery website says:
An IPA as an IPA should be: packed with a full malty flavour and a strong complex hop finish imparted by Styrian Goldings and Fuggles.
Forbury Lion has a 3.6 star rating on untappd.com
