Live music on the Wilkins Kennedy stage at Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival

We are pleased to announce the line up for the 2014 Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival sponsored by Think Ford.

The bands and artists playing are all playing for beer and burgers, and we thank them greatly for that. Please note that the line up is subject to change.

So for your audio pleasure:

CAT O’CONNOR

Despite having gigged nationally at a wealth of prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Cat likes nothing more than to sing to people and doesn’t mind where she is. She has received over 110,000 views on YouTube to date and continues to record cover versions and her own material for YouTube

SAVOUR THE FLAVOUR

We play ‘polky’ music i.e poppy + folky. We concentrate on our own compositions but we also play a lot of polky songs that you will know e.g Fisherman’s Blues (The Waterboys), Squeezebox (The Who) or Up all Night (Take That).

“…rollickingly infectious” – Phil Daniels, Folking Live @ South Hill Park

TRIO SPONGO

Rockin’, funkin’, chilled out 3 piece band from Wokingham. The trio – Rich Robinson, Jym Plummer and Lewis Wright played their first offical gig in 2008. They have since recorded their debut album, 26 Acres, and are now playing in venues all over the south of England.

STATE OF EUPHORIA

State of Euphoria are a local band with a good range of their own songs. They also do a fine line in Red Hot Chilli Peppers covers and were on stage at South Hill Park in front of a large audience.

DARTH VADER’S LUGGAGE

DVL are our ‘house band’. The boys have played at our last two festivals and play a terrific mix of covers that will have you up and dancing. Formed in 2011 from a group who just ‘jammed’ together the guys make it a welcome hat-trick in 2014.

FIRE ANTZ

The Fire Antz are a four piece band from Newbury, Berkshire. Originating in 2008, now with a new lineup and EP currently underway they are back on top gigging in the local area. Playing a flexible mix of original material and covers from such artists as Green Day, Paramore, HaleStorm, U2 and Feeder to name a few.

Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival 2014 takes place on Sunday 25th May 2014 at Bracknell Town Football Club from 1pm. Tickets are on sale priced £5 for adults, with FREE entry to CAMRA and football club members. Buy tickets here.
