Bracknell beer festival special ale named by you!

“I’ll have half of Braccan Ale please” are words you will become familiar with at Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival after members of our facebook group voted on the name of our special beer produced by Ascot Ales.

The name Braccan Ale is derived from our towns original name ‘Braccan Heal’, first noted back in 942 AD – and we think it works rather nicely.

Other names on offer included 1896 and Cooper-Clark after the clubs top scorer this season.

The beer is from Camberley based Ascot Ales and is described as: Single Hop 4.6% Light copper coloured IPA, brewed with a different single variety of hops every month. New experimental Slovenian hop 3096. It has fruity & floral aromas & flavour.

Bracknell Ale & Wine Festival takes place at Bracknell Town Football Club on Sunday 24th May 2015.
