Details on travelling to Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival 2019

Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival is fast approaching so we thought we’d provide a little bit of travel information for anyone coming to the site.

In short, we strongly urge you to walk or arrange to be dropped off at the site at Bracknell Rugby Club. PLEASE have consideration for our neighbours who may well be going about a leisurely Sunday and do not park in any roads around the rugby club. If you do need to drive the best place to park is probably in any of the town centre car parks.

The easiest ways to get to the site are:

On foot

The site is off the Running Horse Roundabout and a 20 minute walk from Bracknell Town Centre.

Train

If you are coming to the Festival using the train, there are two stops you can use – both on the Reading to Waterloo line. Martin’s Heron is good if you want to walk up – it’s 15 minutes to the site on foot.

Or you can go along to Bracknell Station and jump on the Courtney Buses shuttle..

Bus

Wherever you are coming from you can head to Stand 2 at Bracknell Bus Station, opposite the railway station. The timetable is:

  • Bracknell Railway Station to Rugby Club: 20 and 50 minutes past the hour from 11:50am to 10:50pm
  • Rugby Club to Bracknell Railway Station: 30 and 00 past the hour from midday to 11pm.

There will be a charge to passengers which will be £2.40 single and £3.70 return, however please note concession passes are not valid. Special offer: two return tickets for £5. More details
