Thanks to our good mate Dani Harmer, hopefully you’ve already seen the breaking news about this year’s Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival.
But if not we thought we’d pull all the details together for you.
As you’ll be aware, the Festival is a huge fundraising event for Bracknell Rugby Club, helping it support and train hundreds of youngsters across the area, providing a safe space, coaching, and a rugby pathway for its senior players and thousands of members.
However, when we started planning this year’s Festival there was no ‘Cost of Living’ crisis. As such we wanted to ensure that everyone is able to let their hair down on the weekend of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Although the event has its own costs to manage we have decided that the discounted Early Bird ticket price for anyone buying tickets in advance online will be extended until the Festival gates open at midday on Saturday 4th June.
In addition, we’re freezing our beer and cider prices for a third year. That means great beer and cider for £2 a half pint and £4 a pint, and craft beer continues to be £2 for 1/3 and £4 for 2/3 pint.’
Finally, those of you who have bought, or are buying tickets in advance online, will receive your first half of beer or cider on us as you enter the Festival.
You can find out more about the Festival – including the tasty food, the great live music that’ll greet you when you arrive, the local charities every ticket bought will raise money for, and who our volunteers are – via our website at www.bracknellalefestival.co.uk
We look forward to seeing you, your friends, families, deck chairs, blankets and smiles at the 11th annual Bracknell Ale & Cider Festival on Saturday 4th June from midday!
Cheers!
Michael, Ian and Tom
